Natural Falsies, OOTD, & the Fair!

*(Bats Eyelashes) Do you like?!*
Ever since I learned to put on false lashes, they became my new best friends in the world of makeup. But I'm not the type of girl to pay $15+ (like the Dolly Wink lashes) or even $5 one just ONE PAIR of falsies! You kidding me?! That's just straight up ree-donku-lous! I'll buy single or double pairs at Daiso for $1.50 (and they have a variety of choices and the bands on the lashes are thick and made specifically for ASIAN eyes). I even browse through EBay and come across some awesome deals with one pack of 10 pairs of lashes!

These above I got TWO boxes (10 pairs each) for only $1.50 each, free shipping! And it actually came pretty quick too! :D Thank you, China! These are the lashes I will be adding to my soon to come giveaway prize!  What I love about these is that I consider them to be dramatically natural. Yes, I said DRAMATICALLY NATURAL. If you look at them, I think you'll get what I mean.

I decided to write down a few easy, simple tips for those of you that are very new to putting on falsies. I think it's pointless to do a whole tutorial since I think the basics are common sense. But there ARE a few things you should remember:
  • Measure and decide before hand where you are going to place the lashes.
  • After applying the glue along the strip of the lash band, wait 30 seconds for the glue to get tacky. It will stick faster, when the glue is wet, it's more prone to moving around and you'll have a gooey mess on above your real lashes.
  • While the glue is drying, I'd gently stroke the falsies upwards where it curls.
  • Wait 30 more seconds for glue to completely dry before you start blinking like crazy or using your eyelash curler to mesh it with your real lashes.
I'm not expert by any means, but I have been wearing false lashes for a very long time now, so I know thing or two about it. It's really quite simple and eventually anyone would love what these bad girls do for your eyes! :D
Outfit of the Day
Double Date at the Puyallup Fair
09.25.2011
We (myself, hubs, Cee, & Alex) decided to double date it to the last day of the fair. Me being pregnant has taken a toll on my wardrobe. Oh man, oh man.. I can NEVER find anything to wear. I feel so huge and nothing fits! I know you can't tell in this picture, but my belly sure was popping! My girlfriend thought it was so cute and kept rubbing it. Hehehe..

I had stopped by Tarjay a few days ago and picked up this cute Liz Lange Maternity cardigan. The pants are my absolute favorite stretchy pants/leggings from Jolt (they look like pants with pockets in the front and back). I knew there was going to be a lot of walking, so my Steve Madden Tyller Slouch Suede boots came in handy! Cute and comfy! :) A motto we women want to live by while we're pregnant. Comfort is a definite MUST.

My Sunday Funday!

Rarely are my Sunday ever busy or filled with nonstop activity, but the 25th sure was! Started off with Sunday lunch/dinner with the in-laws at Super Buffet in Dupont, WA and then the D.D at the Puyallup fair! Of course I got my traditional fair goodies before we left: a dozen scones, elephant ears, & cotton candy. A bit sad that I didn't get my usual caramel apple or cow chip cookies, but it's okay. I don't need ALL that sugar. I'm even MORE bummed I didn't get to take too many pictures!! ): Here's the few I DO have..

This was ONLY round one.. LOL, I think I finished off 3 more plates!

My first prize of the day! Thanks, baby! :)

The funnies woman I know, the bestie, Cee! <3

Mine (The "Oh so normal" photo)

Cee's (Sneaky, sneaky boys!)

YES, I finally got her! Thanks, Alex for HK!
My My Melody isn't lonely anymore!

I know, right? EWWW...

My hunny bear!<3

The last ride of the night! It was so beautiful up there!

So that was pretty much my Sunday! It was relaxing, fun, and I'm so glad we decided to go. I needed a good day like that quite badly. It's rare that my Sunday are filled with so much activity!
Thanks for reading! :D

2-Quick Tips & NOTD

THANK YOU GIRLS, for the wonderful comments on my previous tattoo entry! I'm glad I can share my story here without being judged or looked down on. Thank you, thank you! You girls have made my year!<3
Save the cut pieces
from your false lashes!
First of all, if your a girl that likes to wear falsies often, GET A LASH CASE! I get mine from Daiso for $1.50. It's so small & convenient to carry it around with you. I also keep a mini glue in there just in case. Anyways, you know when you get a pair of lashes and sometimes they're a bit too long for your eyes? What do you know? You cut the ends and throw it away. Well, most people do anyways. I like to keep them in a little lash case so I may use them in the future.

For what, you ask? I like to use them at the ends of lower lashes or to create an accent at the ends of your upper lashes! :D I can trim longer pieces and I definitely wouldn't wear these casually, but I would definitely rock them for a night out on the town! If you ever lost the other half of the lash pair and absolutely cannot find them, don't throw it away! Cut it in half and toss it in here. That's what I did for the dramatic makeup pictures in the header banner above.
NOTE: I have two 10 pairs/per box of the falsies you see in the blue lash case and will be doing a short little review with pictures AND will be adding the second box of lashes (with lots more other prizes) toward my 100th follow of blogger buddies giveaway! :D I'm veryyy excited to put it together and share it with you guys! YAYYY!

Seal your bling, blings!
Whether you have cheap or expensive bling with any time of jewels, rhinestones, gems, etc., be sure to seal it up! I don't know HOW MANY times I've lost little stones on my jewelry pieces. It's so annoying! It looks so tacky and I don't want to wear it, no matter how much I liked it before. I learned this trick from a friend a while back ago and now do this to all my rhinestone bling. Just take any top coat nail polish and give it a few swipes around the whole piece and... TADA! Your bling is SHINIER and a lot more secure than it was before. I've used this trick for a while now and ZERO diamond falls out (on the cheap or the REAL stuff)! Oo, how it shines! :D
  • Sally Hansen-Diamond Strength
  • Seche Vite
  • Sally Hansen-Hard as Nails
NOTD:
Hello Kitty Inspired
The color is more hot baby pink (if that made any sense) than it is coral and the glitter has a lot more colors of light reflecting than in these pictures. I used swarovski element rhinestones (which ALSO has a lot more sparkle in reality) as little accents and give it that 3-D look.
  • Seche Clear Base Coat Polish ($8)
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dry  "16-Blush Rush" ($4)
  • Sinful Colors "830-Pinky Glitter" ($2)
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dry "02-Whirlwind White" ($4)
  • Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "13-Celeb City" ($2)
  • Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen "Black" ($5)
  • Seche Vite Top Coat ($8)
  • Swarovski Elements 24pcs. ($3)
I just realized 80% of everything nail related thing I have is Sally Hansen. I wonder.. Is that the same Sally that owns the Sally's Beauty  Supply stores?!

My first & ONLY tattoo.. *UPDATED PICTURE!*

Inspired by
tattoo blog post & I decided to share my story as well! :D Thanks, Nadin & Georgie! <3

Phoenix on my Right Side..
Let me start by saying that if you think it's inappropriate and TOO revealing..
"GET THE F*CK OFF MY PAGE!"
This isn't showing boobs, vaj, OR asscrack, so quit being so judgmental. You don't know what I went through or what this piece means to me. I am proud of this and people that are SOOO against tattoos in general all suck donkey balls.
You don't have to like it,
but don't hate what you don't understand.
So, ANYWAYS, I wanted to share a little piece of me with you guys! I would NEVER get a tattoo that didn't mean anything at all to me. Even if I decided to get one in the spur of the moment, I still need to think about what means enough to me for me to permanently mark my body. I DO believe my body is a temple, so this piece and every other piece I will do in the future will mean something special to me whether anyone else can understand it or not.
How long did this take?
I did this in 2 sessions!
Outlining = 4 Hours
Shading = 5 Hours

What is a PHOENIX?
A phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird, near the end of it's cycle, it ignites and bursts into flames. In it's ashes, it arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self.  The Phoenix's ability to be reborn from its own ashes implies that it is immortal.
My Story
I've always been a shy and timid girl growing up. I never spoke up for myself. I got walked on all over. I was teased and even stood up for a dance with my middle school crush. My self esteem was pretty low. Anyways, in high school, I got sick. REALLY sick. I'll do a separate post on that when I have time because it's a SUPER LONG story.. But I went through absolutely physical HELL.
  • I lost my hair due to chemotherapy and worse wigs and hair extensions for a few years. Only a handful of people knew.. or maybe everyone knew, but just acted like they didn't notice?!
  • I was TOLD I would only have 6-8 months to live.
  • I wasn't told until AFTER my miraculous recovery that I was in a critical state and basically on my deathbed at one point.
  • I was TOLD I would possibly have a 10% chance if any of EVER bearing kids in the future if I underwent certain procedures, which I did.

I guess my whole family prayed every night and my grandpa prayed to GOD, telling him to let him be sick instead of me.. What's crazy is that when I got better, the doctors had NO IDEA how or why I was recovering so fast out of nowhere! But the sad part is my grandpa is in constant pain and can barely walk now. This pains me immensely.

After I was out of the hospital, and realizing just HOW precious life is and how close to death I was. I wasn't going to live the same way I did before. I speak up for myself, I stand up for what I believe, I speak my mind, I'm basically living life to the fullest. It was basically like I was RE-BORN.. In the chinese zodiac, I'm a fire tiger, look it up and it describes me perfectly!

So basically, I'm saying I was re-born from my ashes, I'm still me, a new me, a better me, a me that will not take life for granted. I use to be a wuss when it came to physical pain too.. But after what I went through and all the sh*t I got poked and stabbed with in the hospital, pain doesn't faze me! Come on, we women are better at handling physical pain than men anyways, HELLLERRRR?? CHILD BIRTH!!! x)

I was 19-years old and this piece didn't even hurt, just popped in my ipod earbuds and zoned out.. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be. After your first piece, you get addicted. But budget wise, I can't be splurging on any more tattoos at the moment. I'm proud of this. My first tattoo and I went all out!
Go big or go home, right!?!

*UPDATED PICTURE*
A lot of people have asked me even before I got my tatt what would I do when I get older and my skin sags, or if I get pregnant (which I am now). I want to say first that, like I said previously, I was told by my doctors that I wouldn't be able to conceive children, so getting pregnant never worried me. But now that I am, I am more than happy, and I am STILL VERY PROUD and happy about my piece! I know as I get older, my skin may sag, but when I'm older, I won't be showing my tummy to the world anyways, so no biggie.

If you look below, my tatt hasn't really stretched at all and I know PLENTY of girls that have much bigger pieces that cover their entire stomach and there were no problems after birth. They still look sexy as ever! RAWR!* :D

Why should I "follow back" uninteresting liars?

Before I go on my short little rant, I'd like to say thank you to all those have left such sweet comments on my previous post!!! I'm glad some of you girls can relate & I appreciate everyone who had taken the time to leave such supporting words. :D THANK YOU!! - XoXo

When people say something that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the post they are commenting on. Then they tell you they are now following you and ask for you to return the "favor".

Okay.. So that (above) doesn't bother me. I am MORE than happy to follow back. In fact, anytime I see a new follower on my list, I ALWAYS follow back. I appreciate anyone that actually takes the time to read/ follow & that's the least I could do.

What's ANNOYING is when they aren't actually following you, but expect you to return the "favor". Ummmm.. What "favor" did you want me to return exactly?

1. You aren't even following me in the first place.
2. Your blog doesn't discuss anything that is interesting enough for me to follow for pleasure.

I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but I think it's rude to LIE just so you can up your followers count.

I DO NOT expect people to always follow me back. But I DO expect them to be HONEST. Don't say you are if you aren't. I cannot stand liars no matter how big or small it is. A lie is a lie. It's not necessary so why do it?

Before you get all "I can't believe you're getting so worked up over this.." I'm not. This is nothing for me to get angry OR worked up about. I'm annoyed. This is MY blog & I can share anything I feel. And I KNOW a lot of you bloggers can relate.

I'm not trying to be a famous blogger or anything like that. I write whatever I feel, whenever I feel.

I just don't like LIARS & people using people to look "popular". Get the fuck out of here with that!

I appreciate all the followers that I do have & the ones that read what I have to say.

What I love about Blogger is that everyone is so supportive & I feel like I'm making new friends too! :) Plus it's nice to get feedback from strangers because they aren't obligated to be nice to you, just honest.

Anyways.. Hope everyone has fantabulous dayyyyyyy!!! I'm outro! ^_______^v
