Natural Falsies, OOTD, & the Fair!

*(Bats Eyelashes) Do you like?!*
Ever since I learned to put on false lashes, they became my new best friends in the world of makeup. But I'm not the type of girl to pay $15+ (like the Dolly Wink lashes) or even $5 one just ONE PAIR of falsies! You kidding me?! That's just straight up ree-donku-lous! I'll buy single or double pairs at Daiso for $1.50 (and they have a variety of choices and the bands on the lashes are thick and made specifically for ASIAN eyes). I even browse through EBay and come across some awesome deals with one pack of 10 pairs of lashes!

These above I got TWO boxes (10 pairs each) for only $1.50 each, free shipping! And it actually came pretty quick too! :D Thank you, China! These are the lashes I will be adding to my soon to come giveaway prize!  What I love about these is that I consider them to be dramatically natural. Yes, I said DRAMATICALLY NATURAL. If you look at them, I think you'll get what I mean.

I decided to write down a few easy, simple tips for those of you that are very new to putting on falsies. I think it's pointless to do a whole tutorial since I think the basics are common sense. But there ARE a few things you should remember:
  • Measure and decide before hand where you are going to place the lashes.
  • After applying the glue along the strip of the lash band, wait 30 seconds for the glue to get tacky. It will stick faster, when the glue is wet, it's more prone to moving around and you'll have a gooey mess on above your real lashes.
  • While the glue is drying, I'd gently stroke the falsies upwards where it curls.
  • Wait 30 more seconds for glue to completely dry before you start blinking like crazy or using your eyelash curler to mesh it with your real lashes.
I'm not expert by any means, but I have been wearing false lashes for a very long time now, so I know thing or two about it. It's really quite simple and eventually anyone would love what these bad girls do for your eyes! :D
Outfit of the Day
Double Date at the Puyallup Fair
09.25.2011
We (myself, hubs, Cee, & Alex) decided to double date it to the last day of the fair. Me being pregnant has taken a toll on my wardrobe. Oh man, oh man.. I can NEVER find anything to wear. I feel so huge and nothing fits! I know you can't tell in this picture, but my belly sure was popping! My girlfriend thought it was so cute and kept rubbing it. Hehehe..

I had stopped by Tarjay a few days ago and picked up this cute Liz Lange Maternity cardigan. The pants are my absolute favorite stretchy pants/leggings from Jolt (they look like pants with pockets in the front and back). I knew there was going to be a lot of walking, so my Steve Madden Tyller Slouch Suede boots came in handy! Cute and comfy! :) A motto we women want to live by while we're pregnant. Comfort is a definite MUST.

My Sunday Funday!

Rarely are my Sunday ever busy or filled with nonstop activity, but the 25th sure was! Started off with Sunday lunch/dinner with the in-laws at Super Buffet in Dupont, WA and then the D.D at the Puyallup fair! Of course I got my traditional fair goodies before we left: a dozen scones, elephant ears, & cotton candy. A bit sad that I didn't get my usual caramel apple or cow chip cookies, but it's okay. I don't need ALL that sugar. I'm even MORE bummed I didn't get to take too many pictures!! ): Here's the few I DO have..

This was ONLY round one.. LOL, I think I finished off 3 more plates!

My first prize of the day! Thanks, baby! :)

The funnies woman I know, the bestie, Cee! <3

Mine (The "Oh so normal" photo)

Cee's (Sneaky, sneaky boys!)

YES, I finally got her! Thanks, Alex for HK!
My My Melody isn't lonely anymore!

I know, right? EWWW...

My hunny bear!<3

The last ride of the night! It was so beautiful up there!

So that was pretty much my Sunday! It was relaxing, fun, and I'm so glad we decided to go. I needed a good day like that quite badly. It's rare that my Sunday are filled with so much activity!
Thanks for reading! :D

2-Quick Tips & NOTD

THANK YOU GIRLS, for the wonderful comments on my previous tattoo entry! I'm glad I can share my story here without being judged or looked down on. Thank you, thank you! You girls have made my year!<3
Save the cut pieces
from your false lashes!
First of all, if your a girl that likes to wear falsies often, GET A LASH CASE! I get mine from Daiso for $1.50. It's so small & convenient to carry it around with you. I also keep a mini glue in there just in case. Anyways, you know when you get a pair of lashes and sometimes they're a bit too long for your eyes? What do you know? You cut the ends and throw it away. Well, most people do anyways. I like to keep them in a little lash case so I may use them in the future.

For what, you ask? I like to use them at the ends of lower lashes or to create an accent at the ends of your upper lashes! :D I can trim longer pieces and I definitely wouldn't wear these casually, but I would definitely rock them for a night out on the town! If you ever lost the other half of the lash pair and absolutely cannot find them, don't throw it away! Cut it in half and toss it in here. That's what I did for the dramatic makeup pictures in the header banner above.
NOTE: I have two 10 pairs/per box of the falsies you see in the blue lash case and will be doing a short little review with pictures AND will be adding the second box of lashes (with lots more other prizes) toward my 100th follow of blogger buddies giveaway! :D I'm veryyy excited to put it together and share it with you guys! YAYYY!

Seal your bling, blings!
Whether you have cheap or expensive bling with any time of jewels, rhinestones, gems, etc., be sure to seal it up! I don't know HOW MANY times I've lost little stones on my jewelry pieces. It's so annoying! It looks so tacky and I don't want to wear it, no matter how much I liked it before. I learned this trick from a friend a while back ago and now do this to all my rhinestone bling. Just take any top coat nail polish and give it a few swipes around the whole piece and... TADA! Your bling is SHINIER and a lot more secure than it was before. I've used this trick for a while now and ZERO diamond falls out (on the cheap or the REAL stuff)! Oo, how it shines! :D
  • Sally Hansen-Diamond Strength
  • Seche Vite
  • Sally Hansen-Hard as Nails
NOTD:
Hello Kitty Inspired
The color is more hot baby pink (if that made any sense) than it is coral and the glitter has a lot more colors of light reflecting than in these pictures. I used swarovski element rhinestones (which ALSO has a lot more sparkle in reality) as little accents and give it that 3-D look.
  • Seche Clear Base Coat Polish ($8)
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dry  "16-Blush Rush" ($4)
  • Sinful Colors "830-Pinky Glitter" ($2)
  • Sally Hansen Insta-Dry "02-Whirlwind White" ($4)
  • Sally Hansen X-treme Wear "13-Celeb City" ($2)
  • Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen "Black" ($5)
  • Seche Vite Top Coat ($8)
  • Swarovski Elements 24pcs. ($3)
I just realized 80% of everything nail related thing I have is Sally Hansen. I wonder.. Is that the same Sally that owns the Sally's Beauty  Supply stores?!

My first & ONLY tattoo.. *UPDATED PICTURE!*

Inspired by
tattoo blog post & I decided to share my story as well! :D Thanks, Nadin & Georgie! <3

Phoenix on my Right Side..
Let me start by saying that if you think it's inappropriate and TOO revealing..
"GET THE F*CK OFF MY PAGE!"
This isn't showing boobs, vaj, OR asscrack, so quit being so judgmental. You don't know what I went through or what this piece means to me. I am proud of this and people that are SOOO against tattoos in general all suck donkey balls.
You don't have to like it,
but don't hate what you don't understand.
So, ANYWAYS, I wanted to share a little piece of me with you guys! I would NEVER get a tattoo that didn't mean anything at all to me. Even if I decided to get one in the spur of the moment, I still need to think about what means enough to me for me to permanently mark my body. I DO believe my body is a temple, so this piece and every other piece I will do in the future will mean something special to me whether anyone else can understand it or not.
How long did this take?
I did this in 2 sessions!
Outlining = 4 Hours
Shading = 5 Hours

What is a PHOENIX?
A phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird, near the end of it's cycle, it ignites and bursts into flames. In it's ashes, it arises, reborn anew to live again. The new phoenix is destined to live as long as its old self.  The Phoenix's ability to be reborn from its own ashes implies that it is immortal.
My Story
I've always been a shy and timid girl growing up. I never spoke up for myself. I got walked on all over. I was teased and even stood up for a dance with my middle school crush. My self esteem was pretty low. Anyways, in high school, I got sick. REALLY sick. I'll do a separate post on that when I have time because it's a SUPER LONG story.. But I went through absolutely physical HELL.
  • I lost my hair due to chemotherapy and worse wigs and hair extensions for a few years. Only a handful of people knew.. or maybe everyone knew, but just acted like they didn't notice?!
  • I was TOLD I would only have 6-8 months to live.
  • I wasn't told until AFTER my miraculous recovery that I was in a critical state and basically on my deathbed at one point.
  • I was TOLD I would possibly have a 10% chance if any of EVER bearing kids in the future if I underwent certain procedures, which I did.

I guess my whole family prayed every night and my grandpa prayed to GOD, telling him to let him be sick instead of me.. What's crazy is that when I got better, the doctors had NO IDEA how or why I was recovering so fast out of nowhere! But the sad part is my grandpa is in constant pain and can barely walk now. This pains me immensely.

After I was out of the hospital, and realizing just HOW precious life is and how close to death I was. I wasn't going to live the same way I did before. I speak up for myself, I stand up for what I believe, I speak my mind, I'm basically living life to the fullest. It was basically like I was RE-BORN.. In the chinese zodiac, I'm a fire tiger, look it up and it describes me perfectly!

So basically, I'm saying I was re-born from my ashes, I'm still me, a new me, a better me, a me that will not take life for granted. I use to be a wuss when it came to physical pain too.. But after what I went through and all the sh*t I got poked and stabbed with in the hospital, pain doesn't faze me! Come on, we women are better at handling physical pain than men anyways, HELLLERRRR?? CHILD BIRTH!!! x)

I was 19-years old and this piece didn't even hurt, just popped in my ipod earbuds and zoned out.. It's not as bad as some people make it out to be. After your first piece, you get addicted. But budget wise, I can't be splurging on any more tattoos at the moment. I'm proud of this. My first tattoo and I went all out!
Go big or go home, right!?!

*UPDATED PICTURE*
A lot of people have asked me even before I got my tatt what would I do when I get older and my skin sags, or if I get pregnant (which I am now). I want to say first that, like I said previously, I was told by my doctors that I wouldn't be able to conceive children, so getting pregnant never worried me. But now that I am, I am more than happy, and I am STILL VERY PROUD and happy about my piece! I know as I get older, my skin may sag, but when I'm older, I won't be showing my tummy to the world anyways, so no biggie.

If you look below, my tatt hasn't really stretched at all and I know PLENTY of girls that have much bigger pieces that cover their entire stomach and there were no problems after birth. They still look sexy as ever! RAWR!* :D

Why should I "follow back" uninteresting liars?

Before I go on my short little rant, I'd like to say thank you to all those have left such sweet comments on my previous post!!! I'm glad some of you girls can relate & I appreciate everyone who had taken the time to leave such supporting words. :D THANK YOU!! - XoXo

When people say something that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the post they are commenting on. Then they tell you they are now following you and ask for you to return the "favor".

Okay.. So that (above) doesn't bother me. I am MORE than happy to follow back. In fact, anytime I see a new follower on my list, I ALWAYS follow back. I appreciate anyone that actually takes the time to read/ follow & that's the least I could do.

What's ANNOYING is when they aren't actually following you, but expect you to return the "favor". Ummmm.. What "favor" did you want me to return exactly?

1. You aren't even following me in the first place.
2. Your blog doesn't discuss anything that is interesting enough for me to follow for pleasure.

I don't mean to sound like a bitch, but I think it's rude to LIE just so you can up your followers count.

I DO NOT expect people to always follow me back. But I DO expect them to be HONEST. Don't say you are if you aren't. I cannot stand liars no matter how big or small it is. A lie is a lie. It's not necessary so why do it?

Before you get all "I can't believe you're getting so worked up over this.." I'm not. This is nothing for me to get angry OR worked up about. I'm annoyed. This is MY blog & I can share anything I feel. And I KNOW a lot of you bloggers can relate.

I'm not trying to be a famous blogger or anything like that. I write whatever I feel, whenever I feel.

I just don't like LIARS & people using people to look "popular". Get the fuck out of here with that!

I appreciate all the followers that I do have & the ones that read what I have to say.

What I love about Blogger is that everyone is so supportive & I feel like I'm making new friends too! :) Plus it's nice to get feedback from strangers because they aren't obligated to be nice to you, just honest.

Anyways.. Hope everyone has fantabulous dayyyyyyy!!! I'm outro! ^_______^v

We are having a ____!!! :D

I had my 3rd ultrasound appointment on Thursday (09-15-11). I am officially at 20 weeks (5 months-second trimester). This appointment was to find out the baby's gender and the verdict is..

Drum roll, please...
It's a BOYYYYYYYYY! :D
"WHAT!!! Boys can't wear Hello Kitty.." -Anna
I'll be honest, I was hoping for a girl. Who else am I going to pass along my girly obsessions to?! Hehehee.. But either way, I am more than ecstatic! He will definitely be a mama's boy! Plus, we need a big brother for if we ever decide to make a little sister for him in the future *wink wink*.

It REALLY fucking annoys me when people say shit like "It shouldn't matter whether it's a boy or a girl. As long as they're healthy..blah, blah, blah." UMMM, no shit, Sherlock! We're going to love our child no matter what the gender, it's just nice to hope or guess what the surprise will be. I feel like they are implying that it's wrong of me to have a preference before I know what it is. Of course, all I REALLY want is baby to be healthy. Ugh, sorry.. I've been extra hormonal. But I swear, when you're pregnant, A LOT OF little shit starts to fucking annoy you. And it sucks because I KNOW no one means any offense. AGHHH!!
Now, what kind of boy names are we going to come up with?? This is super tough considering EVERY name anyone has suggested to me reminds me of someone or something I DON'T want to be reminded of. And every other names that I absolutely adore is already taken by the kid's of people I know! Grr.. I have a couple in mind, but like every other mom, I probably won't reveal it until it's finally decided.

Man, this pregnancy journey is no joke! I envy the ones that had no problems and went through it with ease. It has definitely not been easy peasy for me, although.. It DOES have it's up and downs. But overall, its ALLLLLLLLL worth it! :) I cannot wait until little man enters this world!!!
His dad SOOO owes me some new boobs, new tummy, and a new vagina! PWAHAH! Just kidding. Hope no one got all sensitive with that. It's just a joke. Don't trip chocolate chip.
[[Little man sucking his thumb!!! Hehee..]]

JUST WANTED TO SHARE something else that I thought was funny..

Babe's view on Parenting: Discipline--
"We're going to get them really attached to their iPhones & then when they're bad, we're going to take it away from them! Yeah, then they'll know we ain't messing around!"
HAHAHAHA! I was dying! But when you think about it, it could possibly be very true. Kids nowadays aren't fazed when you take away TV privileges from them like back in the day. It's all about the internet access and up to date technology: smartphones, video game systems, etc. It's a bit sad really.

I'm definitely making our kids socialize outside of the internet and do more physical activity. There's no way they are sitting at a computer for hours straight like kids nowadays are doing. That's exactly why our society is become more and more socially awkward.

People are too comfortable typing away on their phones and computers than talking face to face. Ugh, come on people. GET OUT and explore the world and meet some new REAL people, please!

Remembering the 9/11 tragedy..

Ten years ago today, I was late as usual getting to my art class. My teacher didn't seem to notice anything going on around her and she had a very somber face. I sat quietly in my assigned while she turned on the television. It didn't REALLY hit me, until I saw that the class that was usually loud and obnoxious were ALL quiet with looks of genuine concern. A few were crying with friends patting their backs, but everyone's focus was on the TV. It was an event that will never be forgotten. I believe EVERYONE remembers exactly where and what they were doing when the news spread across the world. So many innocent people died on this day, and so many more have died fighting to prevent this from happening again. It's because of the ones fighting for this country, we are ALL able to live in freedom. My prayers are with those who are still fighting right now. My heart goes out to all those that have lost a friend or family member involved. Thank you for those who fight for us. You made make our future and TODAY possible.

ATTENTION: BLOGGER Users!

Most of you have already done this, but I didn't know until recently how to convert my blog into the mobile version when it's accessed through a mobile device. It's VERY simple (you can do even this from your phone)!

Why should you do this? Well, if you're like me, I'm constantly on my phone: facebooking, tweeting, blogging, etc. It's just SO much easier to read & leave comments when people's blogs are in a mobile format, all the contents are fitted perfectly on your phone's internet browser! I love going to people's pages, but hate the hassle of waiting for everything to load & having to zoom in/ out to read anything. [See Picture #1 below!] See how simple it looks?? Loves it!

How do to enable the mobile feature: When in your dashboard, go to your blog's settings. Click the "Email & Mobile". Check "Yes. Show mobile template on mobile devices." & save! That's all! And you can click "web version" at the bottom if you check it out in full.

NEW: Blogger App (Androids & iPhones) Yeah, I've been raving about this nifty little app since it first came out a couple days ago! I understand, some entries must be done on the computer with all the editting we must do, but this is perfect for the simple posts! It's super duper easy, very convenient, & it's FREE! :) I think everyone that can, should try it out! I freaking love it! [See picture #2 & #3]

(^______^) Just thought I'd share & spread the word! <3

Mission Accomplished! :)

Today I woke up & saw someone's tweet on cupcakes.. Yeah. Pregnancy craving kicked in turbo! Couldn't stop thinking about It! Grandma dearest told me a strange superstition on pregnant women. She says that when you're craving something, you must get it! Or else your one of your child's eyes will come out a lot smaller than the other.. HAHAHAHA!! I literally LOL'ed. What the heck does eye sizes have anything to do with cravings?!

Well, I didn't want to take any chances.. *giggles* I drove my ass to Safeway & picked up a nice $8 box of delights! Hmm.. Like the title says.. Mission accomplished!

BTW--- I'm loving how easy it is to post entries now with the new Blogger app!! All you iPhone & Android users need to hurry & get on this!!! :)

Recent Baby Bump Pictures! :)

Slightly showing at 15 weeks, the belly is finally getting bigger and rounder by the week! I need to post an entry about the emotional roller coaster ride I've been on and how physically uncomfortable I am every day!!! I definitely appreciate my mother so much more, especially because after me, she carried & delivered TWINS! It's hard enough carrying ONE baby! Mad props to all the moms out there that popped out multiple kids at once! Anyways, THAT will be a separate post.. Check out my progressing baby bumps for now! :)
